Mom'S Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 unbaked pie shell
    1 c. chopped pecans
    3 eggs
    1 c. white corn syrup
    1/3 c. sugar
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. melted butter
Preparation
    Line pastry shell with pecans.
    Beat eggs well.
    Add corn syrup, sugar, salt and butter; mix.
    Pour over nuts.
    Bake at 425\u00b0 for 10 minutes.
    Reduce to 350\u00b0 for an additional 40 minutes. Cool and serve with whipped cream.
