Smothered Pork Chops - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 thick pork chops
    1/2 c. uncooked rice
    1 medium onion
    salt
    pepper
    1 lemon
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 325\u00b0.
    Trim fat from pork chops.
    Place pork chops in skillet over low heat.
    Brown on both sides.
    Pour rice into large baking dish.
    Place pork chops over rice.
    Cut onion into 4 slices.
    Place 1 slice on each pork chop.
    Sprinkle with small amount of salt and pepper.
    Cut lemon into 4 slices; place on onion slices.
    Pour soup over pork chops; cover.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour.
