Marie'S Chili - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 lb. chuck or round steak
    1/8 c. bay leaves (6 or 8)
    1 Tbsp. oregano
    2 c. water
    1 Tbsp. paprika
    1 Tbsp. garlic powder
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. ground red pepper
    2 oz. chili powder
    1 Tbsp. cumin
    1 c. cracker meal
    water to taste
Preparation
    Brown the chuck or round steak on medium heat.
    Add the bay leaves, oregano and 2 cups water.
    Boil for 1 hour.
    Pour the water through strainer into cooked chili meat.
    Add the remaining ingredients. Cook 3 hours. May add more chili powder, if wanted.
