Favorite Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. butter
    3 c. plain flour
    1 c. self rising flour
    8 eggs
    2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Sift plain flour and self rising flour together twice.
    Cream butter in large mixing bowl.
    Gradually add flour until thoroughly blended.
    In a small bowl, beat eggs and add sugar.
    Blend.
    Add this mixture to large bowl and beat at medium speed for 5 minutes. Add vanilla.
    Bake in greased tube pan 1 1/2 hours at 275 degrees. Cool in pan.
