Sausage Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. sausage (hot, if preferred)
    2/3 c. chopped green pepper
    2/3 c. chopped celery
    2/3 c. chopped onion
    1 c. water
    2 cans cream of chicken soup
    1 c. uncooked rice
    slivered almonds
Preparation
    Cook sausage; drain well.
    Saute vegetables, then add water, soup and rice.
    Pour in greased casserole and sprinkle heavily with slivered almonds.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
