Swedish Crescents - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    1/2 c. confectioners sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 3/4 c. sifted plain flour
    1 c. finely chopped pecans
    1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Cream butter and confectioners sugar.
    Add vanilla, flour, nuts and salt; mix.
    Chill well.
    Shape dough into crescents, using 1/2 teaspoon dough.
    Put on cookie sheet.
    Bake at 300\u00b0 for 18 to 20 minutes.
    Check to be sure they do not brown.
    When done, roll in 1 cup confectioners sugar to which 1 teaspoon of vanilla has been added.
    Makes between 6 and 7 dozen.
