Boiled Frosting - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. cool water
2 egg whites

Preparation

Cook sugar and water until it will spin a thread.
Do not stir.
Add slowly to stiffly beaten egg whites. Beat until of consistency to spread on outside of cake.
