Pasta In Brodo De Pollo(Italian Chicken Soup With Spaghetti) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large fat stewing hen
    2 large carrots
    2 stalks celery with tops
    3 tsp. salt
    5 qt. water
    1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
    1 large onion
    1/4 c. fresh parsley
    milled black pepper to taste
    1/4 lb. spaghetti, broken into small pieces
Preparation
    Simmer all ingredients in a 10-quart covered pan until tender. Remove chicken.
    Leave cover off and boil the stock until reduced to half.
    Strain; let stand until fat rises to top.
    Skim off most of the fat.
    Bone chicken.
