Pralines - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. sugar
2 1/4 c. pecan halves
1/4 c. butter
1/2 c. light corn syrup
1/2 c. water
2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Heat sugar, syrup, water and pecans in a heavy pan until sugar is dissolved. Bring the mixture to a boil, stirring occasionally, until it reaches the soft-ball stage (240\u00b0). Remove pan from heat; add butter and vanilla.
