Italian Beef - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 lb. rump or chuck roast
    2 Tbsp. sweet basil
    1/2 tsp. garlic powder
    1 or 2 bay leaves
    1/2 tsp. oregano
    1 tsp. crushed red pepper
    1 1/2 c. water
    1 1/2 Tbsp. salt
    6 garlic buds
Preparation
    Mix spice in water and pour over meat.
    Cook in covered pot for 3 hours.
    Cool.
    When chilled, slice; then heat in broth.
