Seven-Layer Dinner - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sliced raw potatoes
    1 1/2 lb. ground beef
    1/2 c. chopped green pepper
    salt and pepper
    2 c. sliced celery
    1 c. chopped onion
    1 (1 lb.) can tomatoes
    2 c. grated cheese
Preparation
    In a greased 2 1/2-quart casserole, arrange layers of potatoes, celery, meat, onion, green pepper and tomatoes. Sprinkle potato and beef layers with salt and pepper.
    Bake in a moderate oven (350\u00b0) for 2 hours, or until potatoes are tender. Add cheese about 15 minutes before casserole is ready to remove from oven.
    Makes 6 servings.
