Ingredients

6 eggs
1 c. vegetable shortening
1/2 c. margarine
3 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. almond flavoring
1/2 tsp. coconut flavoring
3 c. sifted flour
1 c. milk
2 2/3 c. coconut
Preparation

Put egg whites in large bowl and beat at high speed until soft peaks.
Set aside.
Combine egg yolks, shortening and margarine until well blended.
Gradually beat in sugar and salt.
Add flavoring and beat in flour and milk.
Add coconut and fold in egg whites.
Bake 2 hours at 300\u00b0.
Cool in pan for 15 minutes.
