Buttermilk Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    1/2 c. shortening
    3 c. sugar
    6 eggs
    3 c. plain flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream the butter, shortening and sugar.
    Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
    Sift the flour and baking powder together, then add alternately with the buttermilk and vanilla.
    Bake in a tube pan at 325\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours.
