Low-Fat Beef Stroganoff - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. trimmed round steak
2 Tbsp. flour
1 tsp. paprika
1/2 onion, chopped
1 clove garlic, crushed
1 Tbsp. oil
1 can (4 oz.) mushrooms, undrained
1 c. plain low-fat yogurt
1 cube beef bouillon
Preparation

Slice beef in thin diagonal strips (may be easier to do if partially frozen).
Mix flour and paprika, shake beef strips in it to coat.
Brown beef, onion and garlic in oil over high heat until brown.
Stir in mushrooms, yogurt and bouillon cube.
Heat to boiling, stirring constantly.
Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 12 to 15 minutes.
Serve over macaroni ribbons.
Makes 4 servings.
