Cooked Okra - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. okra
    3/4 tsp. salt
    boiling water
Preparation
    Wash okra and cut off stems.
    Cut into 1/2-inch slices and place in saucepan.
    Add salt, cover with water and cook, uncovered, 15 to 25 minutes.
    Drain.
    To serve, season with pepper, butter and vinegar.
    Serves 6 to 8.
