Sausage And Corn Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. smoked sausage, sliced
    1 onion, chopped
    pimento or red bell pepper
    4 cans cream-style corn
    1 c. milk
    salt and pepper to taste
    1/2 green pepper, chopped
    1 can whole kernel corn, drained
    1/4 lb. saltine crackers
Preparation
    Brown sliced sausage in large pan.
    Add onion and bell peppers. Saute until tender.
    Add corn, milk and crushed saltines to thicken.
    You can cook this on top the stove, scraping and stirring occasionally for 1 hour.
    Or bake in the oven at 325\u00b0.
    If you use pimentos instead of red bell peppers, stir them in during the last 1/2 hour of cooking time.
    Freezes well.
