Spanish Coffee Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3/4 c. white sugar
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    3/4 c. salad oil
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 egg
Preparation
    Mix
    first
    six
    ingredients
    well.
    Reserve 1/2 cup of this mixture
    for
    topping.
    Now add to the first mixture the buttermilk,
    soda, baking powder and egg.
    Mix batter well and pour into greased 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Spread over batter 1/2 cup of reserved
    topping
    to
    which 1/2 cup of chopped nuts may be added. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
    Cake travels well.
