Macaroons - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 egg whites, beaten until fluffy
    1/2 tsp. almond extract (optional)
    1 1/3 c. coconut
    1/3 c. sugar
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. chocolate chips (optional)
    1/4 c. ground walnuts (optional)
Preparation
    Add all of the ingredients to the beaten egg whites until well blended.
    Lightly grease cookie sheets.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
