Angel Food Cake(This Recipe Is Over 50 Years Old.) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 3/4 c. sugar
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1 2/3 c. egg whites
    3 Tbsp. cold water or 2 Tbsp. lemon juice and 1 Tbsp. water
    1 1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
Preparation
    Add cream of tartar to egg whites before beating. Then beat until whites form peaks, but not too dry.
    Gradually add sugar, then the flour.
    Place the batter in an angel food cake pan.
    Bake at 300\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
    Increase the temperature to 325\u00b0 and bake for 15 additional minutes.
