Beef Dish - Japanese Style - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 to 4 lb. chuck beef roast
    2 cans Ita-Konnyaku (alimentary paste Japanese style)
    fresh ginger to taste
    soy sauce to taste
    sugar to taste
Preparation
    Trim fat from beef and cut up into pieces a little larger than bite size.
    Brown quickly, cover and simmer on low heat for about 1 hour.
    Do not add any liquids.
