Scotch Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. butter
    2/3 c. white sugar
    6 c. sifted bread flour
    3 tsp. vanilla
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Roll out and cut with tumbler.
    Bake in moderate oven (350\u00b0) for 15 to 20 minutes.
    When cool, frost and put 1/2 cherry on top.
