Ingredients

3/4 c. sugar
3 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
dash of salt
wafers
4 eggs
2 c. milk
1/2 tsp. vanilla
5 to 6 bananas
Preparation

Combine 1/2 cup sugar, flour and salt in top of a double boiler.
Mix in whole egg and 3 egg yolks.
Stir in milk.
Cook, uncovered, over boiling water, stirring constantly, until thick. Remove from heat.
Add vanilla and cool.
Beat egg whites until stiff and mixture will form stiff peaks.
Bake in oven at 425\u00b0 for 5 minutes or until browned.
