Peanut Butter Crescents - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. shortening
1 c. granulated sugar
1 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. peanut butter
3 c. sifted all-purpose flour (Swans Down)
2 tsp. soda
2 tsp. salt

Preparation

Cream shortening, sugar, eggs and vanilla; stir in peanut butter.
Sift dry ingredients.
Stir into creamed mixture.
Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls on ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake in moderate oven at 350\u00b0 about 10 minutes.
Makes 3 dozen cookies.
