Bean And Rice Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 slices bacon, chopped
    1 small onion, chopped
    1 celery stalk, chopped
    4 c. water
    1 can (16 oz.) small white beans, undrained
    1 can (16 oz.) pinto beans, undrained
    1 tsp. garlic powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1 can (8 oz.) tomato sauce
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 c. Minute Rice, original
Preparation
    Cook and stir bacon in large saucepan on medium heat until browned.
    Add onion and celery; cook and stir until tender.
    Add water, beans, tomato sauce, garlic powder, salt and pepper; cover. Bring to a boil.
    Stir in rice; cover.
    Remove from heat.
    Let stand 5 minutes.
    Makes 8 cups or 8 servings.
