Macaroni And Cheese - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1 1/2 c. milk
    1 tsp. salt
    dash of pepper
    1 c. grated Cheddar cheese
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. macaroni
Preparation
    Melt butter in skillet; add flour, salt and pepper.
    Cook for a minute.
    Add milk gradually.
    Cook, stirring constantly, until smooth and thick.
    Add cheese; stir well.
    Cook macaroni; spoon half into butter 2-quart baking dish.
    Add half the cheese sauce and repeat.
    Bake in moderate 350\u00b0 oven until mixture bubbles and is slightly browned on top.
    Makes 6 to 8 servings.
