Best Ever Summer Pasta - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 ripe tomatoes, chopped
    2 c. sliced mushrooms (8 oz.)
    6 to 8 oz. Mozzarella, cut in strips
    1/2 c. chopped fresh basil
    2 garlic cloves, minced
    1/2 c. olive oil
    1 tsp. salt
    1 lb. linguini
    1/2 c. Parmesan cheese (1 oz.)
Preparation
    Mix all the sauce ingredients and let set at room temperature for 1 hour or more.
    Cook and drain pasta.
    Serve hot in warmed bowls, topped with a ladleful of sauce and garnished with Parmesan. Serves 4 to 5.
