Carrot Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 3/4 c. sugar
    2 tsp. salt
    1 1/4 c. Wesson oil
    1 tsp. salt
    4 eggs
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    2 c. plain flour
    3 c. grated raw carrots *
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 c. chopped pecans or more
    1/2 c. raisins or more
Preparation
    *Be sure to pack carrots firm.
    Need to get as much water out of them as you can.
    I use a blender and a little water to grate mine.
