Beans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. pinto beans
    14 1/2 oz. can stewed tomatoes
    2 or 3 slices bacon or salt pork
    4 oz. can chopped green chilies
    1 medium onion, diced
    chili powder
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Fast boil beans for about 1 hour, adding water as needed.
    Add all other ingredients, chopping tomatoes into smaller pieces.
    Use spices according to taste.
