Chinese Chicken Wings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. chicken wings
    2/3 c. sugar
    3 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. ground ginger
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    3/4 c. water
    1/3 c. lemon juice
    1/4 c. soy sauce
Preparation
    Bake chicken at 400\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
    Mix all other ingredients (dry first, then add liquid).
    Cook, stirring constantly over medium/high heat until thick.
    Allow to boil gently for 3 minutes.
    Brush over chicken.
    Continue baking 40 minutes, basting with sauce every 10 minutes.
    Broil the last couple of minutes.
    Watch carefully so as not to let burn.
