Pasta E Fagioli - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 small onion
    1 small carrot
    1 stalk celery
    1 clove garlic
    2 Tbsp. olive oil
    2 cans white beans
    2 cans beef broth
    1 small can tomato sauce
    salt, pepper and parsley to taste
    2 c. small pasta shells
Preparation
    Cut up onion, carrot, celery and garlic in small pieces and saute in olive oil.
    Blend two cans white beans with 1/2 can water in blender.
    Combine all ingredients except the pasta in a saucepan and cook on medium heat about 45 minutes.
    Prepare pasta according to package directions and mix into soup.
