Icebox Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. granulated sugar
1 c. brown sugar
1 1/2 c. liquid shortening
3 eggs
4 1/2 c. flour
2 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. nuts

Preparation

Mix sugars, shortening and eggs until creamy.
Add the rest of the ingredients.
Dough will be stiff.
Mold in 8 x 8-inch cake pan.
Cool for at least 3 hours.
Divide into 3 rows.
Slice 1/8-inch thick.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes.
