Icebox Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large carton Cool Whip
    1/2 c. sour cream (one 8 oz. cream cheese can be used)
    1 c. sugar
    1 box devil's food cake mix
Preparation
    Bake cake as directed on box in 2 (9-inch) round pans.
    Let cool, take thread and cut layers in half.
    Stack the layers with this icing between each layer and cover sides and top and refrigerate.
    Mix together the Cool Whip, sour cream and sugar for icing.
