Famous Crab Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. crabmeat (fresh), picked good
    1 lb. butter, melted (not runny)
    1 doz. plus 3 eggs
    2 bunches spring onions, sliced thin
    1/2 pkg. parsley
    1 bell pepper, finely chopped
    1 lb. plain flour
Preparation
    Pick through crabmeat to get out any shell.
    Mix flour and eggs together until smooth and creamy.
    Place butter, crabmeat, onions, parsley and pepper in a deep bowl and mix well together.
    Add flour mixture and deep bowl with ingredients to a cooking pot and cook for 5 to 8 minutes.
    Shape into oblong rolls; roll in crackers. Freeze.
    When ready to serve, deep fry in hot oil 10 to 12 minutes.
