Hot Ginger Fruit - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (20 oz.) can sliced pineapple, drained
    1 (29 oz.) can cling peach halves, drained
    1 (16 oz.) can apricot halves, drained
    1 (29 oz.) can pear halves, drained
    10 maraschino cherries, drained
    3/4 c. firmly packed light brown sugar
    1/4 c. butter or oleo, melted
    1/2 tsp. ground ginger
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Drain pineapple and reserve 2 1/2 tablespoons of juice.
    Put all fruit on paper towels so fruit is dry.
    Arrange pineapple, peaches, apricots and pears in 2-quart casserole, then top with cherries.
