Caramel Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. shortening
    1 c. milk
    2 c. sugar
    3 c. flour
    3 tsp. baking powder
    4 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream
    shortening
    and sugar.
    Add eggs, one at a time. Combine
    flour and baking powder; add alternately with milk to first
    mixture.
    Add vanilla.
    Bake in two 9-inch pans at 325\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
