White Fruit Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 3/4 c. cake flour
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. butter
    5 large eggs
    3/4 lb. candied cherries
    1 lb. candied pineapple
    4 c. pecans, chopped
    1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
    1/2 tsp. lemon extract
Preparation
    Coat
    cherries,
    pineapple and nuts with 3/4 cup flour. Cream butter
    and sugar until fluffy.
    Add eggs one at a time, beating after
    each
    addition.
    Add baking powder to 1 cup of flour
    and blend
    into
    creamed
    mixture; stir in flavorings. Fold in fruit and nuts; spoon batter into prepared pan.
    Start in a cold oven. Bake at 250\u00b0 for 3 hours.
