Sweet And Sour Smoked Pork Chops - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 smoked loin pork chops (1/2-inch thick)
    2 Tbsp. melted butter or margarine
    1 1/2 c. chicken broth
    1/4 c. cornstarch
    1/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
    1/4 c. soy sauce
    2 Tbsp. vinegar
    1 green pepper, sliced into rings
    8 small onions, cut into quarters
    1 can pineapple chunks, drained (15 1/2 oz.)
Preparation
    Brown chops on both sides in butter in a large skillet.
    Pour broth over chops.
    Cover and simmer 20 to 30 minutes, or until tender.
    Remove chops from skillet; set aside.
    Combine cornstarch, brown sugar, soy sauce and vinegar; stir well and add to pan drippings.
    Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until thickened.
    Return chops to skillet.
    Add green pepper, onions and pineapple.
    Cover and cook over low heat for 10 minutes, or until vegetables are tender.
