Cocoa Velvet Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 3/4 c. flour
    1 1/4 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    6 Tbsp. cocoa
    2/3 c. shortening
    1 c. buttermilk
    3 eggs
    1/4 tsp. red food coloring
Preparation
    Cream shortening and sugar.
    Add eggs.
    Mix flour, baking powder, soda and cocoa.
    Blend into shortening mixture with buttermilk and food coloring.
    Mix until smooth.
    Bake at 350\u00b0. Bake in 2 (9-inch) cake pans.
    Frost with any favorite icing.
