Tomato Scallop - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1/2 c. chopped green pepper
    1/4 c. butter
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    4 medium tomatoes, peeled and sliced (1 1/2 lb.)
    2 c. soft bread crumbs
    1/3 c. grated Romano cheese
Preparation
    Mix all of the ingredients in a microwave casserole.
    Cover with plastic wrap and cook on High until tomatoes are tender. Sprinkle with a little of the grated Romano cheese just before serving.
