Molasses Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1/4 c. shortening
1/2 c. molasses
1 c. applesauce
1/2 c. sugar
2 1/4 c. flour
3/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. cloves
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
2 tsp. baking powder

Preparation

Mix. Pour into greased baking dish, 9 x 15-inch.
Bake 30 to 35 minutes until toothpick comes out clean.
