Apple Butter - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (23 oz.) jar unsweetened applesauce (2 1/2 c.)
    1/2 c. thawed frozen unsweetened apple juice concentrate
    1 tsp. ground cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. ground cloves
    1/8 tsp. ground allspice
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients in heavy medium saucepan.
    Cook over medium heat 50 minutes or until very thick, stirring occasionally. Store in sealed container in refrigerator up to 3 weeks.
    Spread on toast or muffins.
    Makes 2 cups.
