Caramel Nut Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 lb. pkg. brown sugar
    1 c. granulated sugar
    5 eggs
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3 c. flour
    1 c. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. broken pecans
Preparation
    Cream butter, shortening, sugars and add eggs one at a time. Combine baking powder, salt and flour.
    Add to creamed mixture alternating with milk.
    Add vanilla and nuts.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours in greased and fluted pan.
    Cool 15 minutes before trying to remove.
