Cabbage Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. shredded cabbage
    2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    3/4 c. hot milk
    3 slices cheese
    3 Tbsp. butter
    3/4 c. bread crumbs
    2 Tbsp. flour
Preparation
    Drop cabbage into boiling water and boil 15 minutes.
    Drain; put half the cabbage in buttered casserole dish.
    Sprinkle with half the salt, pepper and sugar.
    Sprinkle on the flour, then half the cheese and butter.
    Add remaining cabbage and top with remaining salt, sugar, pepper, butter and cheese.
    Top with bread crumbs and pour the hot milk over all.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 until bread crumbs are golden brown or about 20 to 25 minutes.
    Makes 4 to 6 servings.
