Chocolate Cake - cooking recipe

1/2 c. cocoa
1 1/4 tsp. baking soda
2/3 c. vegetable oil
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/4 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. cake flour, sifted
1 tsp. salt
1 c. buttermilk
2 eggs
Preparation

Combine the eggs and sugar in a mixing bowl and beat until the sugar has dissolved.
Add the remaining ingredients and mix thoroughly.
Pour the batter into 2 greased and floured 9 x 9-inch cake pans and bake at 350\u00b0 for about 35 to 40 minutes.
