Lime Pickles - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. hydrated lime
5 qt. cucumbers
2 gal. cold water
7 c. sugar
2 qt. vinegar
1 tsp. whole cloves
1 1/2 Tbsp. salt
1 tsp. pickle spice
Preparation
-
Pour over cucumbers and let stand overnight.
The next day simmer for 35 minutes and seal in hot jars.
