Ingredients

1 lb. ground walnuts
1 lb. flour
1 lb. butter
1 lb. sugar
4 egg yolks
4 egg whites
Preparation

Work flour and butter with hands.
Add sugar and mix.
Add walnuts and mix well.
Add egg yolks and mix until stiff dough. Add more flour if dough is too soft but don't get dough too dry or it will crumble.
Take large pieces of dough and roll out on floured board.
Cut with cookie cutters and place on greased cookie sheet.
Beat egg whites until stiff and place a dab on center of each cookie.
Bake in 350\u00b0 oven for 10 minutes or until lightly brown.
