Cream Of Mushroom Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 Tbsp. butter
3 Tbsp. flour
1 1/2 c. half and half
1 c. minced mushrooms
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
Preparation

Melt butter; add flour and cook 3 minutes.
Remove from heat; whisk in half and half.
Add mushrooms and seasonings.
Return to heat; bring to a boil, lower heat and cook until thick.
Really good base for crab soup, too (without mushrooms and some Old Bay). Serves 4.
