Bratwurst With Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. fully cooked bratwurst
    2 large potatoes, pared and diced
    1 c. water or beef broth
    2 apples, pared and diced
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    3 Tbsp. butter
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1 small onion
Preparation
    Place bratwurst, potatoes and water or beef broth into wide skillet or saute pan and simmer until water or beef broth evaporates and the potatoes are tender, about 15 minutes.
    Add apples into pan.
    Push bratwurst and apples to one side and sprinkle sugar over a portion of the skillet.
    Stir over high heat until sugar melts or caramelizes.
    Add butter and stir with the potatoes and apples until evenly seasoned.
    Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
    Keep warm until ready to serve.
