Pecan Pralines - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 c. granulated sugar
    2 Tbsp. light corn syrup
    1/3 stick butter or margarine
    pinch of salt
    2 c. coarsely chopped pecans
    1/3 c. boiling water
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    In a medium saucepan, combine brown sugar, granulated sugar, syrup, butter and salt.
    Add boiling water.
    Place over heat immediately.
    When mixture begins to boil, reduce heat to medium and cook for 6 minutes.
    Remove from heat and add vanilla and chopped pecans.
    Beat until slightly thick.
    Drop from tablespoon onto waxed paper.
