Italian Lentils - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. dry lentils
2 c. stewed tomatoes
1 onion, chopped
2 cloves minced garlic
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. oregano
1/2 tsp. cumin
6 oz. tomato paste
Preparation
-
Place lentils
in saucepan with enough boiling water to cover. Lightly boil 30 minutes, adding more water, if needed. Add remaining
ingredients
and simmer 30 minutes more.
Serve over rice.
Especially nice with MAZIDRA.
